It was reported in the news paper that there were more sales at Comex despite fewer visitors. I am not surprised with the report because Leman Brothers nightmare is exactly one year (Sep 2009). People spent on gadgets that attract them such as newer laptop, mobilephone, digital camera etc.

SALES at this year’s Comex show have exceeded last year’s, despite fewer visitors. The four-day annual information-technology and consumer-electronics fair at Suntec Singapore, which ended yesterday, raked in $63 million, $7 million more than last year’s sales figure. But the turnout dropped by 25,000 visitors to 710,000 this year.
